Grab your wand, dust off your house robes, and hop aboard the Hogwarts Express – Harry Potter Weekend is coming to Redmond’s Forge! Whether you’re a LEGO builder, a Potterhead, or simply looking for a magical family day out, this enchanting two-day event has something for everyone.
For the 19th and 20th of July, we’re transforming Redmond’s Forge into a celebration of all things wizarding, with iconic LEGO builds, immersive dioramas, hands-on activities for all ages, and more spells than a Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
Here’s your full guide to the magic ahead:
🏰 Iconic LEGO Harry Potter Builds
We’re opening the spellbook on some of the most incredible Harry Potter LEGO sets ever made:
- Attack on the Burrow (75980) – See the Weasley home under siege in this fiery, chaotic, and heartfelt diorama built by Darren, Luke, and Rose during our recent Harry Potter Weekend warm-up.
- Hogwarts Express – Collector’s Edition (76405) – This metre-long masterpiece will be on full display, complete with platform details and characters.
- Diagon Alley (75978) – Explore the magic of the wizarding world’s high street, from Ollivanders to Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes.
- Hogwarts Castle (71043 & 76419) – Witness a tale of two castles with the micro-scale classic and the newly-built Hogwarts Castle & Grounds.
All builds will be set within immersive scenes including Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest, and the final Battle of Hogwarts!
🎉 Weekend Highlights
🧙♂️ Wand & Sorting Hat Ceremonies
Let the wand choose the wizard in our daily wand ceremony. Each child receives a personalised wand card and is sorted into a Hogwarts house.
🧩 Horcrux Hunt
Can you find all 7 hidden Horcruxes scattered throughout Redmond’s Forge? Complete the challenge to win a chocolate frog!
⚗️ Potion-Making Table
Create your own glittering LED potion jar or Polyjuice slime to take home. Suitable for witches and wizards of all ages.
🏗️ Free Build Corner
Younger guests can build their own Common Room or magical creatures from our giant brick bins. Parental help and creativity encouraged!
📽️ Harry Potter Chill Zone
Take a breather with scenes from all eight films, running on loop in our cosy cinema nook with bean bags, popcorn, and Butterbeer (non-alcoholic of course!).
📸 Minifigure Museum
Come face-to-face with every Harry Potter LEGO minifigure in our collection, from early 2001 yellow-faced Harry to the latest Patronus glow editions. We’ve even got Umbridge (boo!).
