Introducing the LEGO Wall of Fame at Redmond’s Forge

wall of fame intro

At Redmond’s Forge, we’ve always believed LEGO is more than bricks. It’s people, community, stories, and the shared passion that connects us across generations. From the AFOL who has been collecting since the 1970s, to the child discovering the joy of their very first minifigure, LEGO is about belonging. That’s why today we’re thrilled to unveil something we’ve been working on quietly in the background:

The LEGO Wall of Fame

This is our way of saying thank you, of recognising the people who stand behind Redmond’s Forge, our supporters, patrons, sellers, traders, and buyers. If you’ve helped shape our journey, you deserve to be remembered in LEGO.

What Is the LEGO Wall of Fame?

The LEGO Wall of Fame is a dedicated space, both physically in the Forge and digitally on our website, where every supporter who chooses to be recognised gets their name engraved on a custom LEGO tile and their very own minifigure added to the display.

It’s part hall of honour, part storytelling wall, and part community mosaic. Over time, this wall will grow into a vibrant gallery of the people who’ve made Redmond’s Forge possible.

Every week, we’ll add the newest names and figures, and introduce them in our blog and video updates. Each person’s story, whether it’s a collector who helped us track down a rare set, a seller who provided the LEGO that has helped us, a patron who has backed us, or a trader who shared their own LEGO journey, becomes another brick in the story of the Forge.

Why a Wall of Fame?

Because LEGO is all about building together.

Every big creation, whether it’s a towering UCS Star Destroyer or a sprawling LEGO City, starts with individual bricks. In the same way, Redmond’s Forge isn’t just about one person or one collection. It’s about everyone who has supported, encouraged, bought, sold, or traded with us.

The Wall of Fame is our way of building community into the very structure of the Forge. Just as LEGO sets come alive when minifigures step into them, our story becomes real when the people behind it are celebrated.

How It Works

It’s simple:

  • Your Tile → A LEGO tile inscribed with your name (or a name of your choice) will be placed on the Wall of Fame at Redmond’s Forge, and on our website.
  • Your Minifigure → We’ll create a minifigure version of you (or one you design yourself, or give to us, or send to us), and add it to the wall alongside your tile, and on our website.
  • Weekly Introductions → Each week, we’ll publish a blog post and video introducing the new members of the Wall. You’ll appear in the Forge’s ongoing story, forever part of its credits.
  • Permanent Recognition → Your tile and minifigure will remain a permanent fixture of the Wall of Fame, both in our physical space and on the dedicated online page, as well as in the credits for our videos we’ve started to produce.

This means not only do you become part of the Forge’s history, but every visitor, in person or online, will know the community that made it possible.

A Dedicated Page & Video Credits

The Wall of Fame isn’t just a physical wall in Wicklow. It’s also digital.

On our website, there will be a dedicated Wall of Fame page, showcasing every supporter, their tile, and their minifigure. Visitors will be able to scroll through and see who helped build the Forge, with new names added every week.

And in our YouTube videos, every Wall of Fame member will appear in the credits, just like the cast and crew of a movie. After all, this is a shared production, and every bricklayer deserves recognition.

Who Can Be on the Wall?

The Wall of Fame is open to:

  • Patrons & supporters → Those who help support and fuel the Forge’s growth.
  • Sellers & traders → The amazing people we meet in towns and counties across Ireland, the UK, and beyond, who’ve passed sets into our care.
  • Buyers & collectors → Those who’ve bought from the Forge and helped LEGO find new homes.
  • Friends & families of the Forge → Anyone who’s been part of this journey, who has told me their story, sent me pictures of your collection, and wants to be remembered in LEGO form.

In short, if LEGO has brought us together in any way, if you’ve told me your story, the Wall of Fame is open to you.

A Living History

What excites us most about the LEGO Wall of Fame is that it isn’t static, it grows.

Every week, new tiles and minifigures will be added. Every week, new stories will be told. Years from now, when we look back at the Forge’s journey, the Wall of Fame will be a living record of the people who built it, supported it, and kept it going.

It’s like a giant LEGO set, where the instructions aren’t fully written yet. Each new supporter adds a piece we didn’t know we were missing, and together we build something greater than the sum of its parts.

How to Join

Joining the Wall of Fame is simple.

We’ll be opening up a form on our website where you can:

  1. Enter the name you’d like displayed on your tile.
  2. Choose whether we design your minifigure or whether you want to suggest your own or send your own.
  3. Confirm how you’ve connected with Redmond’s Forge (buyer, seller, patron, supporter, etc.).

Once you’re in, you’ll be part of the Forge’s history forever.

Our First Inductees

We’ll be announcing the very first names and figures on the Wall of Fame later today when we unveil the wall. Each will have their own story, their own connection, and their own little LEGO character standing proudly on the wall.

This will be the first of many, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Currently there are 7 people selected. I’d like to do 10 – so if 3 people want to be added to the first inductees, please contact me or comment down below. More will be added next week.

Final Thoughts

The LEGO Wall of Fame is about recognition. It’s about celebrating not just the bricks, but the people behind them. Because LEGO is more than sets and minifigures. It’s community, friendship, and shared creativity.

So here’s to building together, one tile at a time.
Here’s to your name and your minifigure finding its place on the Wall of Fame.
And here’s to the community that makes Redmond’s Forge possible.

Welcome to the Wall of Fame.
