As the opening day for Redmond’s Forge LEGO Museum & LEGO City draws closer, we’ve taken stock of our collection, and while it’s impressive, there remain some critical gaps. Ten, to be exact. These aren’t just any sets. These are the crown jewels that will elevate the museum from good to great. These are the missing centrepieces that will complete key themes, storylines, and displays across the museum floor.
And so we issue a challenge, nay, a quest.
Find these 10 before opening day, or the UCS Millennium Falcon gets it.
(Well… not destroyed, but given away to one lucky supporter.)

Let’s walk through the missing ten, and why each one matters.
1️⃣ 10312 — Jazz Club (Modular)
Theme: Modular Buildings
The Jazz Club brings colour, culture, and music to LEGO City. Our current modular street has a gap where this would slot in perfectly — giving visitors a sense of downtown vibrancy. Without it, our Modular Avenue is one venue short of a street party.
2️⃣ 42141 — McLaren Formula 1 (Technic)
Theme: Technic
Technic has its own performance garage inside the Forge Museum, but the McLaren F1 is the poster child for modern Technic design. We have supercars and classics, but we’re missing that racing pedigree centerpiece.
3️⃣ 10314 — Dried Flowers (Botanical Collection)
Theme: Botanical
Our Botanical corner is starting to flourish, but the Dried Flowers set adds that unique autumnal tone missing from the collection. The contrast it brings in colours and design rounds out the seasonal experience.
4️⃣ 75355 — X-Wing UCS
Theme: Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series
The UCS wing of Star Wars at Redmond’s Forge has the Falcon, the AT-AT, and the Razor Crest. But it’s missing one of the most iconic fighters in the saga: Luke’s X-Wing. Without it, the UCS display has a glaring hole in the Rebellion fleet.
5️⃣ 10297 — Boutique Hotel (Modular)
Theme: Modular Buildings
The Boutique Hotel brings an architectural flair and a luxury destination to LEGO City. Without it, there’s no true “high-end hotel” for our mini-fig residents to stay in after a long day of shopping and exploring the city.
6️⃣ 10260 — Downtown Diner (Modular)
Theme: Modular Buildings
A personal favourite missing from the collection. The Downtown Diner brings 1950s Americana charm to any LEGO City. The city currently lacks a proper retro eatery — no burgers, no shakes, no rock’n’roll — and it shows.
7️⃣ 10261 — Roller Coaster (Creator Expert)
Theme: Creator Expert Fairground
We have the Ferris Wheel. We have the Haunted House. But we don’t have the crown jewel of the fairground: the full Roller Coaster. Without it, the amusement park feels incomplete. This one isn’t optional — it’s mandatory.
8️⃣ 75364 — New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter
Theme: Star Wars: Ahsoka Era
The new Ahsoka sets have opened an entire storyline we want to showcase. We have the Ghost. We have Ahsoka. But this dogfight set is needed to bring the full display together for the new generation of Star Wars fans.
9️⃣ 75379 — R2-D2 (2024 Version)
Theme: Star Wars
Our droids are incomplete without the most famous astromech of them all. This updated R2-D2 adds both improved design and ties together multiple displays across our Star Wars dioramas. He’s the droid the museum is looking for.
🔟 10255 — Assembly Square (Modular)
Theme: Modular Buildings
Assembly Square is often called the heart of the Modular line — released as the 10th anniversary celebration of the theme. Its absence leaves a huge gap in the modular cityscape. If we’re building a truly representative LEGO City Museum, Assembly Square belongs at the centre.
The Quest Is On
These 10 sets represent our final push. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be:
- Scouring marketplaces
- Negotiating trades
- Working with collectors
- Taking tips and leads from our followers
And if we fail?
The UCS Millennium Falcon will be raffled to one lucky visitor or supporter of Redmond’s Forge.
We’ve invested years into building this collection — but the final touches matter. And now, it’s your chance to join the quest.
