I still can hardly believe it. I have the new LEGO Star Wars 75419 Death Star. I showed up at the LEGO Store on Grafton Street before opening this morning, determined to score the newest Death Star set, and as luck (and planning) would have it, I was the very first person to emerge from that store with one in hand.

This week, all eyes are on the LEGO Star Wars Death Star – Ultimate Collector Series (UCS 75419). Officially revealed earlier this month, the set packs 9,023 pieces and 38 minifigures. It’s priced at €999.99 / $999.99 and slated for full availability 4 October (with Insiders early access from 1 October). I will be at the top of the queue in Dublin’s Grafton Street store. Today, we are proud to announce the first 10 inductees to the Wall of Fame. Each will have their name engraved on a LEGO tile, their minifigure placed proudly on the wall, and their story celebrated both on our site and in the credits of our videos. This group represents the heart of Redmond’s Forge, founders, haulers, enablers, legendary AFOLs, and sellers who have passed treasures into our care. I have given myself honourary membership.
